Daniela Herrera

Daniela Herrera joined Floridian Partners in 2025, bringing a unique blend of legal acumen and legislative experience. As former legal counsel to the Florida House of Representatives’ Insurance & Banking Subcommittee, she advised on some of Florida’s most complex policy issues, including property insurance, artificial intelligence, banking, and financial regulation.

At Floridian Partners, Daniela leverages her legal background and legislative insight to help clients navigate the intersection of law, policy, and regulation. She advises insurers, financial institutions, and other highly regulated entities on legislative strategy, regulatory compliance, and advocacy before state policymakers and agencies.

A first-generation attorney, Daniela gained early experience in criminal defense, ADA compliance, contract negotiation, and sports and entertainment law while in law school, before beginning her legal career at the Florida House. Her legal and legislative experience, combined with her strong South Florida connections, enables her to deliver informed counsel and effective advocacy across Florida’s major business and policy hubs.

Daniela earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She divides her time between Tallahassee and Miami, supporting clients statewide.
