Melissa has been lobbying in Florida for 18+ years. She joined Floridian Partners in 2018 after serving as Vice President for the Florida Retail Federation and Georgia Retailers where she managed and lobbied in both states. Prior to that she served as Director of Government Affairs for the March of Dimes, the Florida Department of Community Affairs and Executive Assistant to Congressman Ed Whitfield (KY) in Washington DC.
Melissa specializes in growth management, tax, building codes, affordable housing, pharmacy, retail and overall business issues. She also specializes in being a mom to Megan, Harley and Virginia Kate as well as a wife to David. She is a graduate of Florida State University and is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Florida House in Washington DC. In her free time Melissa enjoys playing golf, traveling and drinking great Cabernet.
