Bill Vainisi

­­­­­Bill Vainisi joined Floridian Partners in 2018 as a Senior Adviser to the Government Affairs and Insurance Regulatory Practice.

Prior to his time at Floridian, Bill spent a career at Allstate serving in various positions within the Law and Regulation Department. Most recently, he served as Sr. Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in charge of leading Allstate’s countrywide efforts in influencing public policy on behalf of its customers, shareholders, and employees. As part of this role, he was also charged with leading the Company’s regional counsel program – a staff of lawyers providing legal, legislative, and regulatory services to the entire Allstate field organization.  In addition, Bill was responsible for the Public Policy Analysis and Development group as well as the State Filings group.

Before joining Allstate, Bill held various government relations positions with the National Association of Independent Insurers.  Bill has also served as Chairman of the Board of the Florida Insurance Council, Chairman of the Board of the Florida Insurance Council’s Political Action Committee, Chairman of the Board of the Personal Insurance Federation of California, Insurance Co-Chair of the Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety, and he was a member of the Board of Governors of the California Insurance Guaranty Association.

Bill and his wife Janine are the parents of three sons and split time between Naples, Florida and Inverness, Illinois.
