Clayton Clemens

Clayton Clemens joined Floridian Partners in January of 2023 as a Government Affairs Consultant.

Prior to joining Floridian, he served as the Director of Public Affairs at Florida Internet and Television, where he focused on broadband policy and enhancing the association’s communications channels. He began his career in the legislative process by managing campaigns for candidates during the 2016 election cycle. He then served as the Chief of Staff for State Rep. Jackie Toledo where he managed her office’s operations, helped vet and pass policy, and managed local appropriations projects.

He is currently the President of 21 & Change, inc., a nonprofit that supports children with disabilities and their families. He is also a member of the Florida Chamber’s Political Institute, Associated Industries of Florida Political Council, and is an Alliance Partner with SAFE Tampa Bay.

Clayton earned his master’s degree in public administration from the University of Central Florida in 2022 and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa. Influence Magazine recognized Clayton in their “30 under 30” edition as a “Rising Star” in 2019.

Clayton was born and raised just outside Philadelphia and went on to swim collegiately for the University of Delaware before making his way to the University of Tampa. Clayton and his girlfriend Emily live in Tampa with his brother and recently rescued black lab. In his spare time, you can find Clayton coaching CrossFit, enjoying live music, or searching for the best bar food in town.
